Public Transportation
Several public transit providers serve LAX, including L.A. Metro, Culver City Bus Lines, Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, Torrance Transit, and Beach Cities Transit. Passengers can pick up many bus lines from the LAX City Bus Center.
L.A. Metro
Metro C Line (Green) connects to LAX at Aviation/LAX Station. Regular Metro fare is $1.75 for travel in one-direction and includes 2 hours of free transfers.

To Redondo Beach (Mariposa, El Segundo, Douglas station, Redondo Beach)
To Norwalk (Hawthorne/Lennox, Crenshaw, Vermont/Athens, Harbor Freeway, Avalon, Willowbrook/Rosa Parks (connection BLUE LINE A), Long Beach Bl, Lakewood BL, Norwalk)
How to get to Aviation/LAX Station:
Catch the bus that departs from the Aviation Line to connect from each terminal to Aviation Metro Line C station. It departs every 15-20 minutes daily, depending on the Metro Green Line train schedule, with limited service between 1:00 am and 4:00 am. Passengers for this shuttle bus service should wait at the PINK LAX Shuttle sign on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal and board the “Metro Green Line” Shuttle. The shuttle is free with valid proof of transit.

Culver City Bus
Line 6 and Rapid 6 offer the easiest and most inexpensive way to LAX. Line 6 and Rapid 6 will drop you off at the LAX City Bus Center. Upon arrival, look for the signs for the “LAX Shuttle.” You can catch the Lot South/CityBus Center Shuttle directly to your terminal. The shuttle runs approximately 15-20 minutes seven days a week.
From LAX Baggage Claim Terminals
Travelers should board the Lot South/City Bus Center Shuttle near the pink signs labeled “LAX Shuttles,” located on the lower arrivals level islands in front of each terminal. You will disembark at the LAX City Bus Center and catch Line 6 or Rapid 6 from Bay 4.
Santa Monica Big Blue Bus
Buses use bus only lanes on 98th St. for faster, more reliable service near LAX.

Beach Cities Transit
Beach Cities Transit (BCT) serves the South Bay Region. BCT's service area includes Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, El Segundo and LAX. 109 North Bond bus runs from Redondo Beach Riviera Village to LAX Bus Center N. While 109 South Bound line departs from LAX Bus Center to Redondo Beach Riviera Village
